Herbert G. Farber was born in 1952 in Urbana, Illinois. He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Illinois and received his Juris Doctor from the Seattle University School of Law in 1976, awarded cum laude.

He worked for The Law Offices of Carl A. Jonson, Inc., P.S. upon graduation and represented large corporations and associations in a variety of civil litigation.

In 1980 he founded The Farber Law Group and he has continuously represented civil litigants since that time.

Herbert Farber became an EAGLE member of the Washington State Trial Lawyers Association in 1987 and recently became a member of the M Club of The Association of Trial Lawyers of America.

He has also attended the College of Advocacy at Hastings College of Law, San Francisco, California and completed the Advanced Course in Trial Advocacy sponsored by the National College of Advocacy.

Recent clients of the firm include a young boy who recovered $1.5 million for e. coli food poisoning, a child who recovered $2.5 million against a major Seattle area hospital for birth negligence, and a $750,000 recovery against a manufacturer for product liability that resulted in serious burns to a child.
