Mercer Island

Mercer Island is a city in King County, Washington which is on an island of the same name in Lake Washington. The island is a little more than five miles long and two miles wide.

Mercer Island is one of the best residential communities in the state with many parks and open spaces. Luther Burbank park is on the north side of the island it encompasses 77 acres of land and as .75 miles of waterfront.

Mercer Island is located between Seattle and Bellevue and is accessed by Interstate 90.

Incorporated in 1960, Mercer Island has a population of approximately 22,000 in 12.986 square miles. SchoolsMercer Island School District serves the city. The public high school in the city is Mercer Island High School.
