Overlake Hospital Emergency & Trauma Center Level III - Bellevue

Overlake Hospital Medical Center in Bellevue, Washington has an Emergency Trauma Center that encompasses 37,000 square feet and is located in the South Tower of the campus located east of Lake Washington off of Interstate 405.

The Overlake Trauma Center is designated a Level III trauma center. Evergreen Hospital and Overlake are the only hospitals with a Level III designation on the east side of Lake Washington. While the center does not have the full complement of specialists that a Level I or II center has, it does have resources to provide emergency resuscitation, surgery and intensive care of most trauma patients.

Overlake's Trauma Center serves as a backup to Harborview Medical Center in case of a regional disaster or wide-spread or large-scale emergency.

Overlake's Trauma Center also provides Cardiac & Stroke Emergency care. The center received a Gold Plus Performance Achievement Award  and is a certified Primary Stroke Center which provides rapid and early response for patients suffering from strokes.
