Skykomish is a small town of approximately 214 people in King County, Washington with the moniker Where the 'Sky' Meets the Mountains.

Incorporated in 1909, Skykomish is located along the Skykomish River in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. Skykomish is an Indian name from the Skai-whamish tribe.

The town is a jumping off point for recreational activities and access to the surrounding mountains and the Stevens Pass ski resort which is 17 miles to the east.

Skykomish is along U.S. Route 2 which travels from Everett (to the west) to Leavenworth and Wenatchee (to the east).
